BIOGRAPHY
After receiving a B.A. degree in History of Art from Harvard University, I studied painting and printmaking at the Boston Museum School; the Art Students’ League and Pratt Graphic Art Center, New York; and at Atelier Friedlaender, Paris, France. My early professional life as an artist was spent in Paris, working at the printmaking studio of Janny Friedlaender. The influence of those years has had an ongoing effect on my work, persisting well after my return to the States.
I have exhibited in biennials and salons in Europe, and have been in many group and solo shows in the U.S, as well as the National Prize Show juried by Malcolm Rogers, Director of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. I have been a fellow at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and am a member of the Cambridge Art Association and the Brickbottom Artists' Association.
